Advanced Rock Band Recording Session #3

To finish off the summer semester, Love Learning Music hosted the third Advanced Rock Band recording session of the year. Students, families, volunteers, and Love Learning Music team members gathered in one of MTSU’s recording studios to record two songs for the Advanced Rock Band. Students not only got to perform the songs they’d been working on, but they got to learn about the recording process, meet professionals in the recording industry, and build lasting relationships with their peers and members of the community. Volunteer Spotlight

In August, Love Learning Music got the chance to nominate a volunteer for one of Doing Good Nashville’s volunteers of the month. We nominated Jack Valentino, a volunteer who’s taught piano lessons for a child in need and donated one of his personally-made guitars for the Advanced Rock Band recording session. Jack was invited to interview for Doing Good’s podcast to share about his story and passions for music and volunteering. We are proud of his accomplishments and desire to help others!
