Trunk or Treat for Children with Special Needs!

Love Learning Music recently partnered with Desert Voices in Phoenix, Arizona, for a trunk-or-treat event! Desert Voices teaches children who are deaf/hard of hearing how to listen & talk! Everyone had a great time and the families felt loved. The Love Learning Music team & volunteers dressed up as “cookie ghosts” and were able to give out cookies. We are thankful for the opportunities to share love with families across the United States and beyond!

Jean Pierre and Lyndsey Sharing Love with Families Far Away!

Our beloved team member, Jean-Pierre, has moved to Indianapolis to extend the positive impact of Love Learning Music to more communities!  He has been doing life-changing work with children who have special needs in the Indianapolis community.  Please stay tuned to learn what Jean Pierre is doing in Indianapolis. Please let your friends and family in that area know that one of your favorite non-profits has expanded to Indy!

Currently, Jean Pierre and his wonderful wife, Lyndsey, are serving children and families in India and B@ngladesh on a vision trip to discover future mission opportunities. Some of the people they are serving on this trip do not have literacy skills.  The people live in remote places, and their language is not written.  Therefore, the local hospital has requested that Jean Pierre create songs and dances that convey health knowledge within their cultural context.  Jean Pierre will create songs & dances to teach: how & when to take medication, how to prepare for medical appointments, how to recognize medical red flags, and other medical information.  Lyndsey is also providing life-saving support through her passion and skills as an ICU nurse.  If you feel it in your heart to support the work that Jean Pierre and Lyndsey are doing, there is still a financial need to cover the costs associated with this mission trip.  Please donate through our safe and secure donation portal below.  Please stay tuned for next month’s newsletter with stories from their trip!
