What’s New at Love Learning Music?
There is a lot happening at Love Learning Music this spring, and we couldn't be more excited to share it all with you!
Limitless Legacy Theater Company — Seussical Jr.
Our Limitless Legacy Theater Company pilot program, led by Erin Anders, is in full swing this spring in partnership with Harris Middle School in Shelbyville! Students have been hard at work, and it's almost showtime. Come out and support these talented young performers as they bring Seussical Jr. to life:
Thursday, May 1st at 6:30 PM & Friday, May 2nd at 2:00 & 6:30 PM at Harris Middle School in Shelbyville, TN.
We are so proud of every student involved and grateful for the wonderful partnership with Harris Middle School!
Middle Tennessee Woodwind Orchestra
The Middle Tennessee Woodwind Orchestra, led by Logan Barrett, has had a fantastic season! After a wonderful concert on February 15th, the orchestra had a full-circle performance in partnership with MTSU and the MTSU Concert Band on April 6th.
Music Therapy Sensory Sessions
Our popular music therapy Sensory Sessions are continuing once a month through June! These welcoming, inclusive sessions are open to all children in the community of all ages and abilities. Join us at the Linebaugh Public Library in Murfreesboro from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on the following dates:
Saturday, April 11th / Saturday, May 9th / Saturday, June 6th
We hope to see you and your family there!

An Update on the 2026 Love Learning Music Benefit Concert
While we are disappointed to not gather together this year, please know that our mission has not slowed down. We are continuing to serve people in need through our programs and partnerships, and we remain deeply committed to the work that makes Love Learning Music what it is. In fact, our commitment to continuing the growth of life-changing therapy and education programs is what keeps our team busy. Delivering effective programs and fundraising for the programs is always challenging, and we continue to see success thanks to all the amazing people contributing in small and large ways.
Thank you, as always, for your incredible support. It is because of you that we are able to do what we do, and we look forward to finding more ways to connect and celebrate together in the future.

Music Therapy with Older Adults
Love Learning Music is thrilled to announce an exciting new partnership with National Healthcare Corporation (NHC) this spring! Thanks to the generous support of the Tennessee Arts Commission Arts for All grant, we are bringing a 12-week group music therapy program to two NHC locations in the Nashville area: Franklin and West Meade.
One of our team music therapists, Haley, is leading the sessions with older adult residents focused on some of the most meaningful areas of well-being: motor skills, memory, quality of life, social engagement, and movement. Through the power of music therapy, participants are connecting, moving, and thriving together each week.
We are so grateful to NHC for opening their doors and welcoming this program into their communities. The response from residents has been truly heartwarming. They have thoroughly enjoyed the sessions so far, and we can't wait to see the impact continue to grow over the coming weeks.
A heartfelt thank you to the Tennessee Arts Commission for making this program possible through the Arts for All grant, and to NHC for being such a wonderful partner in bringing music therapy to the people who deserve it most.
