Stewarding New & Old Opportunities

With new opportunities and the continuation of old opportunities, the Love Learning Music Team is focused on growth. First and foremost the developmental growth of those we serve, and secondly the growth of our organization so we can sustainably serve more and more people! :)

Music Education During the School Day

There are longitudinal studies that prove that music is the best element for improving the development of all children. This is why Love Learning MUSIC is using music to have a positive impact on communities. Can you imagine a school with no music programming at all? Sadly, this is a reality in many schools in our communities. Our team has been working hard for many years to establish music programming during the school day. Thankfully, we now have a flourishing in-school music education program and dance education program! These life-changing programs would not be possible without the amazing Allee Williams! Allee is one of the passionate Love Learning Music teachers traveling between different schools throughout the week and teaching music lessons after school!

When School Ends, Music Begins!

Love Learning Music started as an after school music education program in 2012. The goal was to have a positive impact on the development of local children in need. The success of this program has grown to impact over 3,000 children and families. We can all agree that music has a profound impact on people, right? We have seen this through our afterschool programs. In 2024, Love Learning Music launched 5 new after-school programs with 4 new teachers and some veteran teachers from our team contributing as well. We are excited to grow our team and reach more children this year. These after-school programs provide valuable mentorship and adaptive education while also opening doors for more in-depth care through music therapy.

The First Annual Love Learning Music Recital

Do you remember a music lesson recital from childhood? We don’t all have this experience. For those that do, we know the benefits of building discipline through practice, mustering bravery to overcome nervousness, and socializing with other students and parents. On May 11th, Love Learning Music is hosting our first recital event to honor the teachers and students receiving music lessons. There will be student performances and we will share a meal together afterwards. Everyone in the Love Learning Music Family is welcome to come celebrate! The event is located in Nashville. More details to follow. 🙂

Bringing Music To The Community

Love Learning Music partners with Special Kids, a local therapy and nursing center for children with special needs. The special kids race happened on March 9th to bring the community together for a walk/run and raise money for this amazing mission. Love Learning Music setup a music booth and brought engagement through music for the children and families in attendance. Our Program Director, Kaitlyn, orchestrated our involvement with help from, Lyric, a new teacher on our team, Camden, a faithful volunteer and donor, a passionate youth volunteer, and our media & marketing coordinator, Travis. It takes teamwork to make their dreams work. Thank you to everyone who contributes to making our programs and events successful! It’s life-changing work.
